Our Laboratory Exploring

Plasma physics (Experimental):
Plasma physics is a field of study that examines the properties, dynamics, and interactions of plasma, the fourth state of matter. Unlike solids, liquids, and gases, plasma consists of ionized particles with free electrons and positive ions, enabling unique electromagnetic properties. This state is naturally found in stars, including the sun, and is artificially created in devices like neon signs and plasma televisions. Plasma physics explores phenomena such as confinement, waves, and instabilities, critical for applications in fusion energy, materials processing, and space physics. Understanding these complex interactions advances technologies and sheds light on cosmic processes.

Bio-Physics (Experimental) :
Biophysics is an interdisciplinary science that applies the principles and methods of physics to understand biological systems. By examining the physical properties and behaviors of molecules, cells, and organisms, biophysics seeks to explain how biological structures function and interact. This field integrates concepts from physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology to explore diverse phenomena, from the molecular mechanics of proteins to the electrical properties of neurons. Techniques like spectroscopy, microscopy, and computational modeling are commonly used in biophysics. This understanding helps in the development of medical technologies, drug design, and our comprehension of life at a fundamental level.
